IN QUB

I’d like to invite you to join an ‘in person’ supervision group. Yes, all together in the same room! We are planning to start in Queen’s University Belfast on 29 August.

My name is John Hill, fellow member of the AC. I am an accredited Coach Supervisor (CSA) accredited executive coach (AC) and a master practitioner systemic team coach (AoEC).

I have been coaching for seventeen years and supervising coaches for six years.

If you are a coach or a team coach, supervision is a requirement of all the major coach accreditation bodies. Good supervision is a game changer. It provides a space to bring ethical challenges you may face, discover insights regarding complexities our coachees face, and helps to accelerate and expand your development as a coach.

And more than anything, there is the sheer pleasure of being together, sharing our joys and pains, ups and downs, and learning as we go.

about supervision

PHILOSOPHY AND APPROACH

Each session is an opportunity to reflect on your coaching experiences together with a group of fellow coaches. The aim is to gain insights into your work with clients and into you, as a person and a coach.

I always bring a systemic lens to any work I do, inviting in what is happening both within the coach and their work and what is happening in the world of our clients.

When we first meet, will we agree what the needs of the coaches and our clients are and how we create and maintain a safe working agreement, whilst at the same time, allowing what we might call an ‘edge’ to our learning.
